It was a day of days. The weather could not have been better. The greens were groomed, and the putters were polished. Birdies were everywhere. Excitement was universal as 140 golfers tried to win a car,
only to miss.'That's OK' we reasoned,
'We are still going to win the trip to Daytona!

Putts slid by as all narrowly missed so many shots. The beverages flowed and our beer girls were awesome. Bragging started early as we bumped into old friends at the turn and had a bite to eat. Good shots and bad shots with many laughs in between. No shots were greater than the help we all 'insured' ourselves for with two high schoolers DJ Ioele and Tom Mittler. Hitting a hundred balls each either 175 or 200 yards isn't anyones idea of fun but
they did a tremendous job. Many thanks.

At the end of the day only one team can win each of three categories. It
was close with tie breakers needed often. The womens division had a new winning team of Deb Sicilia, Erin Perkins, April Sicilia and. Way to go ladies! The mixed division saw Sue and Bill Kowalski, Matt Guzilek and Robyn Chrzanowski bring home the trophy. Nice shooting! The best score
of the day was carded by the team of Bill Cooper, Paul Chizek, John
David Prught and Ryan 'the Man' Faville with a 61. WOW!

The day rounded out well with dinner and prizes for many, none more satisfying than Pete Precopio winning the coveted Ambassadors Award. Totally surprised and a little overwhelmed, words escaped as the audience rose to it's feet in rousing applause. A fitting tribute and well deserved.
The day ended and the night began with a few more beverages and some
fun on the dance floor.

Thanks to all that helped and all that played for another great year.
We hope you will all join us again next year.
